Heartburn during pregnancy?
Hello im 28 weeks pregnant with a little boy and am experiencing what i think is heartburn. Its like a really burning feeling down the back of my throat like acid. Can anyone tell me how to prevent this and if it is heartburn?

Yep, sounds about right… I never felt it until I became pregnant… Now I feel like an expert on it! Really what has helped is eating smaller meals, DON’T eat while lying down or don’t lay down right after eating, try to avoid spicy things, and TUMS!!! lol… they’ve saved me MANY of times! Plus, with the Tums you get a lot of extra calcium (which is very important in the third trimester)! I also noticed I would get it when I went to bed (even when I ate hours before)… so, I take them before I go to bed on most occasions.
